well the z28 has 105k on the motor and i feel its about time to pull and rebuild- i know thats not a lot of miles but the car was a wreck and sat at a junkyard for 2 years without moving before my rebuild and since ive been driving her pretty hard- no major problems but figure do it while i still can.


anyway - my buddy is a mechanic and just got a new engine stand for christmas and has offered to help with the build when i go home in spring - so im gonna start picking up parts now.

my question is what do i need and what should i get ?

id like to keep the build in the 2k range with us doing all the work but ive been really interested in the LE2 package- seems to be a real good place to start - other question is if i go that route how long till ill be buying a new rearend?
