Hello, I am kinda new when it comes to engine rebuilds, and i just burnt a couple pistons because the Jack*** i bought the car from didnt do some things right. I just pulled the heads yesterday, and found out the bad news. The good news is im looking to do a forged rebuild. I am just having a problem getting started as far as rotating assembly. Is there anyone in the maryland area who might want to share there knowledge for a price and help me get this car back on 4 tires. My mods are in the sig. this car is more of a local driver so im looking for more performance instead of DD. Im wondering if i should just look into a short block or start with my block from scartch. Any help is appreciated

I do like this short block http://www.ellweinengines.com/KING383.html but am i going to be able to use my cam & heads on this since its a 383 or am i going to have to get new ones
