I'm getting ready to put my engine back together. Ordered all of my parts for a rebuild and now just need to clean things up and get them in order.

I'm having the block boiled and I was just going to clean the heads with some gasoline. However, I don't know to clean the intake manifold. It is lined with this really fine suit.

I'm also leary of how to clean my lifters. I'm sticking with my stock ones and am wondering how I might clean those. Otherwise I think I will just clean my crank pushrods, pretty much everything with gasoline. Is this ok?
