Engine overheating
Engine overheating
I have a 94 Z28. I am experiencing overheating problems. Today I just changed the thermostat and my next option is the water pump. Today after replacing the thermostat, I found out that I have a crack in a hose that comes out of the water pump and it looks like it goes to the air conditioner, does that seem right? Its between the water pump and a T. Could anyone help me find out what kind of part I need to fix this hose. I don't know what type of hose it is. Should I just take it to a Chevy dealers repair shop? Another thing is when I am driving down the road, it starts to sputter or crap out. Any suggestions? I am thinkin I need to change the spark plugs. I checked the oil and the oil is good, no white, so I know I didn't blow a head gasket. Unless someone thinks I did. I also put some fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank to see if that helps. maybe its not getin enough fuel.
please help me,
Thanks

Check your radiator/reservoir cap. If it can't hold pressure your motor will get hot. Of course if there is any bad hose you'll need to replace that too. Very unlikely (not impossible) that the water pump is bad.
