Engine Miss-Fire

I have a 1996 Camaro Z28 with the LT1 V8 Engine. It is a "Street" car and the only modifications I have installed on the engine are an SLP Cold Air Intake and Flow Booster, an MSD-6 with PN 8877 harness and an MSD-32149 Wire Set. I have been having a problem with sparkplugs.
The MSD-6 was installed April 1998 with no problems. The wire set was installed January 2001 along with new AC 41-943 spark plugs. In October 2001 my engine developed a miss. It is not bad enough to illuminate the Check Engine light but is felt during medium to hard acceleration. Since the spark plugs were almost new the Distributor Assembly and Cap were replaced but the miss persisted. Eventually, the number 2 spark plug was replaced and remedied the problem.

August 2002 - my engine developed another miss. This time it was the number 4 and 8 sparkplugs. This time we went straight to the plugs, which remedied the problem. One of the plugs measured infinity and the other measured 1,500 ohms with an ohmmeter.

March 2003 - I have developed another miss. It occurs during the same conditions as mentioned before.

My question is: Will the combination of the MSD-6 and MSD-32149 Wire Set apply too much voltage/current to the AC 41-943 spark plugs and cause them to fail? The plugs have a good burn color/pattern. Have you heard of a problem like this before? Is there a different plug or heat range plug that will be better for this application?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you should go back to your stock ignition set up. It should be more than adequate considering your mods. Hell the stock ignition system is pretty good, until you get the opti wet..... If I were you I'd take the MSD stuff off and sell it. You can use that money for some exhaust parts or something else.
