Engine Issue

After changing out a motor mount, I decided to remove my air pump. The car now will start, but as soon as I let off the gas it dies. I am also now having an issue where it back fires. The backfire seems random, i had 2 in 5 minutes that were maybe 15 seconds apart. I was going to try putting the pump back on to see if it went back to normal. Any other ideas?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check that your intake elbow is seated onto the TB correctly; easy to roll the lip under the TB if you have the stock rubber elbow.

I will check that, I think I had everything square. Speaking of vacuum, do you think the vacuum line going from the air pump to the hvac/evac solenoid could have done this?

A small vacuum leak isn't going to be the source of your problem, but square that away too.
