Engine bay cleaning techniques

I know with our optispark we should be extra careful, so what are you guys techniques to clean your LT1 engine bays? I know we should steer clear of the PCM, Opti, and alternator. How many of you use the pressure washer? Or just a rag and elbow grease? I have a car show Saturday and want my engine bay to be spotless

If he uses a pressure washer, there is a good chance of that.

I have power washed my engine with no problems in the past and then with one opti replacement, I do it again and codes everywhere.

The damn optis are too sensitive. I would not get water near them.
