a friend of mine told me that a car witha supercharger or turbo cant pass smog emmissions is that true? and also he said the same thing about the slp loud mouth for using a resonator instead of a muffler... is this true?

I would say your friend is blowing smoke. As long as supercharger has a C.A.R.B. # it is smog legal. Must of the popular supercharger kits out there have a carb #.

As for SLP (Street Legal Performance) I don't think they would make a product that wasn't smog. Of course, I basing this solely on their name.
