Emissions

Ok i am just trying to clean up my engine and have gotten all the emissions systems off of my 97 camaro SS. I have breathers on my valve covers and was wondering if i still need my pcv valve system still on the intake? Would it be best to keep it on or take it off?

I'd definitely keep the PCV valve; even with breathers on the valve covers instead of hoses to the intake, it can function properly at idle and part-throttle conditions. You need some form of crankcase ventilation or there won't be any means of clearing water and the other crap from blow-by out of the crankcase, and the motor will sludge up much more quickly.
