Emissions with the 224/230

I just got back today from the emissions place. I have the 224/230 on a 112 LSA and I passed emissions with flying colors. This is for those who want to know if they will pass with this cam.

That was with my regular street tune. I did not have the guy who tuned my car re-tune it for the emissions.

Hey Z95m6, what kind of SS hood do you have? Also how much did it cost you to paint and fit it?

I don't know what brand it is, i bought it off another guy. It was brand new but damaged in freight. I had it repaired and painted. My friend painted it for $50 he had some left over black from a bike he painted for someone else, he cut me a real good deal. Maybe i am wrong but most SS hoods i see have a diff scoop than mine they have the LS1 style grille mounted in them. My hood came with a chrome steel grille but i didn't like it so i ordered a 96-97 SS grille from SLP and had my hood cut to fit the grille. I would imagine getting a hood prepped and painted would cost at least 200.

Not my fault the weld on the cut-out cracked a little, but that's gonna get fixed on Wed.

Do you have ported heads on that thing?? I've got to put my car on the rollers in NJ in a couple of months, and don't think I'm going to pass.

Awesome thats the cam I want, I cant see why it wouldnt pass its only a hair bigger on the duration that the Hot cam. I think hot cam is 218/230 both cams are at 112. This one is four degrees bigger in the duration than a Cc305 I belive but cut at 112.
