Emergency...cmon Guys I Need Help Like Yesterday!!!!!

Hauled *** out of a toll booth and over a bridge.. got to the other side and my car was sounding like **** it sounds like a harley motorcycle... with TONS of white smoke out the exhaust and a horrid noise from the driver side of the motor up top.... the car is also vibrating severly.... what the hell did i do?? i need to get this fixed ASAP

i also had no choice but to drive it home about 10 miles... it drove like absolute crap... very sputtery and choppy.... but it never overheated and oil pressure stayed around 40..

i would suspect head gasket from the white smoke.

check your oil dip stick to see if its cloudy, sounds like a blown head gasket, hopefuly you driving it home didnt do more damage to yr engine

in the event its my head gasket... what can i expect to pay to have it fixed? or is it something that someone with the right tools can do ????

lots of guys on this board do there own work, heads are done all the time, but you must have the right tools and someone who can help you is always a plus

Im by no means a mechanic.. so worst case i have to take it to a shop.... what can i be expecting to pay??

sorry to say anywhere from 500 to 800 dollars labor, sometimes its better in some cases to buy a used engine, or rebuild the one you have now, thats what i would do if my head gaskets were blown i would do a rebuild, JMO
