Electric Water pumps...

I was just wondering if it was a good idea for a street car? And also, is there a better one than the CSI one I saw? Thanks!

I've been running a CSI on my daily driver for over a year now. No problems.

mine works fine and keeps the car pretty cool. i do however get an uneasy feeling every time i think of how bad it would be if the pump died while im sitting in traffic with no way of pulling the car off the road.

so far its great but if i could do it again.. i wouldnt.

Lots of stuff can go wrong when just sitting in traffic it is just something you would have to deal with. There is no way I would leave it running. I would stop in the middle of the road push it out of the way if possiable and have it towed. Then I would put in another CSI pump. I just look at my temp gauge more but I have mine on the A-Piller right in my face. btw I do drive mine daily with the csi.
