Thumbs up Electric water pump- Great at Bleeding coolant

I hooked my electric pump to come on with the ignition.
So i put the key on the "on" position with the car off and let it spin.. And i opened the radiator cap while the car bled itself..

Just tested it out and works fine

ANother plus to getting an electric pump

oh yeah.. i opened up the screw on the thermostat to till coolant came out...

I dont like reaching around the engine bay while the cars running so it was kinda nice to leave it off and open that screw, shut it and let the motor run for a while..

For those of us that don't plan on getting an electric water pump there is this phenomenol tool.

http://www.mactools.com/ProductDetai...ItemNum=AEV700

It is unbelievable. Gets rid of all the air and uses compressed air to do it and then sucks up the coolant mix to fill the rest of the cooling system.
