DMH Performance is the best, IMHO. I was the test car for its fitting.

It works great and Dave is a really nice guy!

The DMH doesn't leak at all, nope And it doesn't even need/use a separate gasket!

I don't know if Dave sends wiring instructions or not (he pretty much did it for me since I was the test car), but it really is simple. You just need power and ground to the switch harness, which goes to the valve.

I have had the DMH for almost 3 years now and it has never failed. You will hear alot of opinions on whos is best. Mine is for DMH. Awsome customer service, simple plug and play wiring harness and no leaks. 2 friends have them and they love them too. One of them had a McCord and it failed. Then he bought a QTEC and it lasted a month and got nothing but a run around from them. Now he has the DMH and is very satisfied. I have seen all 3 in person and am very glad with my choice. Superior design and workmanship.

Do the DMHs have positive stops? You know a stop in the open slot and a stop in the closed slot.

Thanks,
Mav

I don't think the DMH has any stops, but the motor is so tough that you can basically not wear it out.

Dave, to test this, left the switch on close an entire night and it still worked fine the next morning.

Also, when I keep pressing the close button, after it has closed, I can't hear anything else. It sounds like the motor has stopped. I think it's the type of motor he uses, it'll stop working when it feels resistance.

If it will stop working when it feels resistance, then this is what I am looking for. How do you know when it is fully open and not to far open?

Thanks,
Mav

There's no way to tell other than sound and how long you hold down the button, because it uses a simple momentary rocker switch.

I know I should be emailing the manufacturer this, but would it be possible to weld in an open stop?
