Elcheapo Cutout? Suggestions..

Hey everyone,
This is kind of a stupid question (and ghetto if I might add). Im going to the drag strip tomorrow. I havent had a chance (or the money) to get my cutout put in yet.

Is there anywhere I can disconnect the exhaust to have it dump out before the muffler, much like a cutout?? Any ideas on how to do this?

If I do disconnect, will the heat affect my under carriage at all while driving it to the strip?

Is your car a4 or m6?

I say wait till you get it put on...no sense of hacking the exhaust up anymore than you need to.

Its an A4.. I was thinking if there was a flange I can unbolt, and then bolt one side to the other so they are offset (if that makes sense).

I really dont want to cut anything and I know Im being impatient. But this is one of the only times of the season this local dragstrip is going to have test and tune, so I wanted to make it out there.

Man, ideally thats what I would like to do, but I dont think I can get the cutout and installation by 4pm tomorrow. Unless there is a retailer I can buy the cutout

Your trap is great for an a4 stock car. Mine seems low.

Local perf shop had the cutouts in stock.. Call around tomorrow.
