Eibach pro kit, hows the ride?

I am looking into buying the pro kit to lower my 93 but if the ride is too much rougher than stock then I won't bother.

What about the drag launch kit? Hows that on the street?

Significantly stiffer ride. Not unbearable if you match your springs with good shocks. However if you are worried about a harsh ride, the roads in your area suck and this car is a daily driver you would do better to skip it or use different springs with less spring rate.

Hey thanks for the info. I am kind of a country bumpkin and the roads in my area are horrible. The shocks I would be using are SLP take offs, so those aren't that great.

No problem. I actually put on a set of SLP takeoff stock DeCarbons with my prokit while saving up for better shocks. They were absolutely unacceptable. The ride was horrible and very bouncy. The stock shocks will not be able to handle the high rate of the prokit springs. Do not skimp on shocks, they make all the difference. Lowering the car is one of those do it right or don't do it at all mods. No matter what you do though the prokit will ride much more harshly than stock.

I have the hotchkis lowering springs and stock replacement shocks, ride kicks *** for me maybe I just dont know what im missing... are teh hotchkis springs any good, hear the eibach have a higher springs rate which would generally mean better handling from reduced body roll, just wondering if the eibachs were any better or if there is a best, my roads are pretty smooth.

Pro line worked well with the LT1 take offs but I think the newer ls1 shocks are softer and don't work as well anymore, right?
