EGR valve question

EGR valve question

how much are they? should i clean it up or buy new.

people say they get "surging " from a bad valve what do they mean by that?

this weekend, im gonna clean the MAF, MAP, change TPS, add a fan switch>>whats the easiest way to make one on a 94,any guides

You can pull the EGR valve to see if it's still good. After you remove it just push the valve open/close and see if it leaks and is relatively easy to open/close. To clean it, spray some carb cleaner in the opening. If your vavle is bad you can get a new one for $40 or so.

Yeah, check it. You can do it still on a car. Start it and push a diaphragm, engine should stumble or die. Then you can test it with vacuum tester or smth else to find out any pinhole leaks. Do a search, there were a lot of info on it...
