EGR question.

I think I finally found my idle problem. I broke the EGR tube during rocker arm install...I am actually glad it's just this, only $20 fix.

From the factory do our engines come with a gasket on the EGR tube on the back of the intake manifold? Basically I am wonder if I should use one of these gaskets back there. I need one for on the header for sure, but I am unsure if I should use one on the other two connections. I just want to get rid of this vacum leak.

What do you guys think should I try these gaskets in all three locations?

I see shoebox's site has a little write up on it, but is it possible for the EGR valve to get stuck open?? I assume this would hurt your WOT performance? I just really want to look into my EGR and make sure it's working properly and not hindering my performance. I believe this leak definately was hurting my idle.

Re: EGR question.

The EGR tube manifold end has a gasket, however, the header end does not. EGR valve also uses a gasket.
