I took one nut off from the passenger side of the vehicle and the other nut from the driver side of the vehicle. It makes it easier.

i need to replace my egr valve. i think its getting stuck because the ses light came on and i had it scanned also the light will come on sometimes, then i will turn the car offf and then turn it back on the ses will be off, then sometimes when i will drive it will come on and 5-10 minutes later it will go off. it sseems like the valve is gettting stuck like most of them do. also how much does the egr valve cost and do i just remove those bolts that hold it on and replace it? isn't there a gasket to put on it? also do i replace it from the top of the car or the bottom? it seems pretty hard to get back there! thanks
