EGR delete.....

just happened to be checking around my motor and on the board. Read a post about vacuum pressure. Just put in my motor so there was an extreme amount of mods I did. I just realize that the hose from the EGR that went into the solenoid on the back of the plenum was never capped. I did the egr delete and ... you know...that lil hose plugs into the solenoid. The car runs great and I was just wondering. Did you guys cap that solenoid or did you just leave it. Doesn't seem to effect anything.

thanks.

I think the line on mine just comes right out of the intake then turns and goes right back in.

Take ALL the lines leading to the solinoid, then to the egr and remove them ALL. Just cap off the nipple on the intake OR unscrew the nipple and replace it with a plug.
