I noticed a little hesitation when I slightly gave the car the gas once it shifted into OD. It did this for about a week, and finally SES came up for code 32. I did some research and found that someone had had a similiar problem due to the EGR, and since code 32 is the EGR, I took it off, cleaned it, and put it back on. Well, it did not help. As a result, I took it off and put on a new one--I didn't want to get a block off b/c I want to sell the car soon, and there would be less explaining! Anyway, I just took the car for a test drive and found that I noticed a little hesitation still. Does it take a while to reset of anything, and does this sound like the EGR anyway? Thanks.

 

clear your computer and make sure you fixed your code 32 first. It usually takes about 0-15 minutes driving on the highway for that code to come back if EGR problem still exists.

If your EGR system is not right........your EGR valve COULD be sticking open and that would cause hesitation at low throttle position.

so just drive it around alot on the freeway/streets and make sure you corrected the code first, then take it from there.

to clear your codes, just disconnect your battery ground cable for a couple minutes, then reconnect and go!
