Under slight throttle, the car seems to bog a little bit and sputter till you give it a little more gas, sometimes it is not very responsive at all to throttle, but it runs perfect under quick acceleration, and also normal driving. I starting having the problem, got SES code 32, took off the EGR and it was dirty, cleaned, and still got the same problem. Bought a new EGR, realized that the little rod that comes out of it was stuck inside of mine, so I figure this new one will fix it. Does these symptoms go with the EGR?

 

Too much EGR flow will dilute the a/f mixture and make the engine run rough or stall. Excess flow weakens combustion and may result in the following conditions:

Engine stops after cold start
Engine stops at idle after deceleration
Vehicle surges during cruise
Rough idle

If the valve is stuck and can't be freed up, it needs to be replaced.

If its not giving you trouble at idle then i doubt its the EGR. It could be the TPS check that, its a cheap part and if that is whats wrong it can throw many other codes as well.

 

I had the EGR off, and the pintle in the middle didn't stick out of the EGR valve, but the new one had the pintle sticking out, that is why I am suggesting that. If this doesn't work, I will try the TPS, thanks .
