Oh, I didnt realize it was a clone. Maybe I am wrong about that then. I thought a longer runner helped HP...

The air gap style has obviously decreased voluse a little. I can see a difference by looking in that pic and my own. But it also looks a little smother. I hope i am using the right word, its not smother as in to the touch but it just looks like there are not as many bumps and casting pieces stickin in the way.

Only time will tell the truth. I cant imagine that Edlebrock isnt here lurking on this board. I mean if you making an LT1 intake why would you not be lurking on the largest LT1/4 based message board around?

The only way we will ever know for sure is to actually test on side by side. Not on a stock motor either. Nobody is buying an LT4 intake for a stock motor anyway.

I wonder if they would be intrested in testing one out? I would love to swap one on my motor and see if it makes a difference over the GM LT4...

I wouldn't expect plenum volume to be decreased too much if any. I recall a member on the board cutting out the aluminum under the plenum and it came out looking just like that, except he had a piece of diamond plate as a valley pan I think.
