Edlebrock heads and cam

Does anyone know about edlebrock heads and cam? I have seen the page, and they claim http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/2108graph.html which is a really huge gain over stock considering there is vertually no loss. These are truly supior parts it seems (hey cmon its edlebrock). But i was wondering if anyone got any actual dyno number before i go out and buy them, im talkin at the wheels you know. I saw an article, they only got 25 hp over stock and 25 ftlbs, but they had a really weak lt1. And they were dumbasses for changing alot of the things that edlebrock didnt do (like 52mm tb). Anyways, if anyone has any hands on knowledge please let me know ;] Thanks.

I can't imagine that they would be much better than stock heads out of the box. Now, if they were max ported, with larger valves, maybe. I think that they had an article in Popular Hot Rodding not too long ago, that may be the one that you are talking about. I didn't see it, but I remember guys talking about it and how shocked they were at the low HP figures. I haven't seen many people using them. If you are thinking about heads and don't want to spend a great deal of money, try www.eportworks.com. Also, do a search on here and you can get some really good info on Lloyd Elliot, he turns out some good stock casting LT1 heads. Just find you a set of used LT1 heads (which are pretty cheap) and send them to Lloyd. Good luck.

Do a search on forum we already tore their "testing" to shreads. read the fine print and for heads/cam and HEADERS they gained that amount of power pretty weak.
