Most aren't real fond of the Edelbrocks. Do a search and you will see what I mean. If they aren't coated they will just end up rusting anyhow. Whats a good deal? They are $349 brand new with the y-pipe uncoated.

p.s. Good to see some more f-bodies in Toledo

I got mine for about $200, brand new. The paint came off of them the first time I ran the car over 5 minutes, and they're already developing a good amount of surface rust, I expect I'll change them over to some long tube's whenever I get the cash. But, they're better than nothing, thats for sure...

I had no problems making 450+ horse at the wheels (spraying) with my Edelbrocks so they can't be all that bad

I'm going to be installing my LT's at the end of the month so the Edelbrocks are coming off.

I say go for it. They're a lot better than stock, and even though I've heard many people put them down and say they're restrictive, I've yet to see any kind of "proof" to back up theses accuasions. By proof, I mean actual dyno #'s comparing them to other shorties - ie. Mac's, hooker, RK sport etc. etc.

Do it. You won't regret it.

EDIT: Ps. They sound awesome too.

I have them on my car, but thats only cus they were on the car when I bought it. Though I do think the kind I have were designed for the TPI engine cus of the AIR tubes going into each of the tubes. But other than that they are the same. There is a pic int he sing linkt hat shows how rusted they get. I'd get Mac's if you are not gonan be doing LT's. MAC's are a better design, and easier to work on the engine/ sprak plugs.
