I have had Edelbrock shorty headers for several years. I'm thinking that the shorties are probably choking the power of my new 383 LE2, but I can't afford to do anything else right now...

The problem:
My Edelbrock Y-pipe was hacked up by a redneck muffler shop when they replaced my cat with an off-road pipe. It looks like crap and I believe it is even more restrictive. If the shorties are all I can afford at the moment, I at least want to get the best out of them. I want to replace the Y-pipe. I called Edelbrock and they do not offer a replacement Y-pipe for the shorty header system.

Question:
Will the MAC Y-pipe mount up to the Edelbrock shorty headers?
