edelbrock & trickflow heads????

edelbrock & trickflow heads????

is anybody running either of these heads? there alot cheaper than are or anybody else ive found. i dont know what either of them flow so if you know please post. thanks guys

They had a post about this sometime last week.. Both of the heads are brand new and I don't think anyone here has them or has flowed them yet, but someone was preparing to put the trickflows on. You should hear more in the next few months, I'm waiting too. From what people have said, the trickflow heads should be somewhat comparable to the small AFR's. No one has said much about Edelbrock, but I've never been impressed with any of their flow numbers of traditional SBC heads in the past. They seem to want to keep everything California legal, resulting in their products being mediocre performance wise. When I had my 383 stroker (non LT1), it came with Edelbrock RPM's and I swapped them for Holley Systemax. Felt a WORLD of difference, and that is between 2 performance heads, so you know what I think of Edelbrock. However, no one knows what they've done with the LT1 head till we see the flow numbers.
