Edelbrock Tb loud sucking noise

I just installed a new 52mm throttle body (edelbrock) yesterday.I cranked the car and set the idle. Then I noitced it sounded like the car had supercharger on it. I checked everything and it sounded like it was coming cai. guessing this is caused by the new tb? Is this normal?

Have you tried cleaning the IAC passage, the Edelbrocks have had issues with casting material in there causing the whistle noise.

Apparently Edelbrock TBs really suck!

I bought one of the AS&M 52s made from the Stock 48. No noise, no problems.

I haven't tried cleaning the iac port of any casting flaws. I bought it new and installed it to the car and adjusted the idle. It works great its just loud.

Make absolutely sure your bellows is seated on the TB correctly.
