Edelbrock LT4 intake....thumbs up

Got mine on thursday...nice part for sure..the intake could use more porting to better match up to the race LT4 gasket, but overall not bad at all. Fits nicely

yea i have been happy with mine as well. thicker flanges, bored out for 58mm TB and sealed nicly wiht 12367777 gaskets. the only gripe i have is they didn't send me all the plugs for the holes in the back and side. had to go to hardware store to find the plugs. Pics!!!

Saint, nice pics, But I think you should have sent it to LE or AI to have some mild porting done. If nothing else just to get rid of some of that rough casting flash smoothed out and to see if they had any ideas for the ports or if they would just leave them be. No bashing here, just my 2 cents.

Saint Nice intake Sorry my LT4 intake would not work for your setup, I had no Idea honestly. Just curious though, were did you get the Edelbrock, I may eventually go this route.

I don't see what would be so hard about cutting in the intake right above the injector bosses and welding about 2-3 inches of sheetmetal on these intakes and extending the runner length to about 6 inchs instead of about 3.25.

For real. Isn't performance what it is all about? These "photo shoot" threads are everywhere.

Werd. I don't see it making much, if any worthwhile difference on the typical heads/cam car.
