I had a pair....easy install , decent plug access.
Nice gain , should compliment your current mods well.

Use quality bolts (I like Stage 8s) and gaskets.
Make sure the spark plug wires are not close enough to the headers to get burned. A header install is an excellent time to replace spark plugs and wires.
Uncoated headers will emit more heat and will rust. Get them coated.
Removing and reinstalling the dipstick tube gives some people problems.
You may need to lengthen the wires for the O2 sensors. It's also a good time to replace the O2 sensors if they are original.

hagga, you're getting the stainless steal edelbrock headers?

I was looking at those too let me know how they go. everyone says get jet hot long tubes but i dont have that kind of money. the edelbrock's are only like 600 and the jet hot's are like 900. big difference for probably very little gain

Sometimes it's hard to get out of the block and sometimes it's hard to put back in. To remove it get a helper. One guy above and one below pulling and twisting should get it out without having to resort to vice grips. If you have difficulty replacing it, lightly sand the end with fine (600 grit) sandpaper.
Also you may have to separate the steering column to get the driver side header in.

I have the TES shorties..very nice...no fitment issues just a straight through install for the most part. They have a good gain...but trust me...you'll only really feel it if you have a cut out and open the exhaust up...after you put the cat and all back on...it's pretty lame. They get pretty hot too...good luck.
