I'm using them, and I noticed a huge power difference over the manifolds and 30 miles more per tank. I haven't dyno'd it so I can't dish out numbers, but as far as power goes, the car is alot stronger and sounds deeper. To give you an idea of what it did, I used to be able to chirp the tires going into second without powerbraking, now I can do it all the way through second and chirp them going into third. Anywhere from 25-35 miles an hour if i stab it, it will chirp them as well. I would look into some Mac midlenths if you don't have to worry about smog, or long tubes if you can afford them, though. Much bigger difference and better power than the shorties.

I have em, and like em OK..[good if you have tough smog testing, etc]
$200 used, and they went on, and fit well..
I was fairly satisfied with the gain.. .2 sec and 2.5 MPH gain in 1/4 at the track with them..
[this thru the STOCK catback [new cat tho]
In fact, I added a Borla catback after that track 'test', and gained nothing! next time I went to track.. [tho the general opinion was the track was about .2 'off' that nite.. I sure HOPE SO.. we'll see]

I ran the edelbrocks for about 5 years. They worked just fine, but plug access was absolutely horrible. If I had to do it over again with shorties, wouldnt go back with Edelbrocks.

I have them. No problems at all. All emissions stuff present. Plugs is not that bad if you have good tools and small hands Only concern - they are not coated, alot of heat from them.

I got a 2mph and .2 second gain with Jet hot long tubes over SLP short tube 1 3/4 primary headers. This is when i had a cc305 cam and intake/borla exhaust.

Long tubes were also lighter, and had much better plug access.

I just bought the edelbrock tubular headers from Jegs.com. I had no budget to buy coated one, so I picked up on e-bay 100' headers wrap for $40.00 (poor man's choice ). But didn't install them yet, because still waiting for my new 383 to come.

I've had mine for almost 5 years. Never a leak, install was good and they helped out quite a bit at the track.
I can't give you a exact gain because I did 4.10's at the same time but I gained .4 and 5 mph
