Edelbrock headers? and and air foil?

are the edelbrocks any good b/c it claims up to a full second off your 0-60 times also is an airfoil worth the money any real hp gain?

The edelbrock headers are descent for the money, but they are not going to give you a full sec. 0-60. That's nitrous/supercharger territory there! I hate when company's ballon their products gains like that. Personaly, I would look at a header with at least a 1 3/4 primary. The edelbrocks are only 1 5/8. Air foils help, but are not noticable.

the edelbrock headers are tapered. they have 1 5/8 primaries, but it opens up near the collector and allows for better scavaging of exhaust. i wouldnt be surprised if they do knock off nearly a second on a completely stock 350 because it comes with its own y pipe.

as for the airfoil, yeah it helps, but it is not worth the money to me because for 30 bucks more i can get a 52 mm tb. and it already has the foil. look on ebay, they have a guy that ports stock tb and airfoils together for like 100 bucks, now thats worth it. and you can sell him yours. take some off the price!

any ways, for the money the headers are worth it in my book, i plan on lt though or id already have them. if you get them, get the ceramicoat from jethot. they will last forever

Edelbrocks are tapered? They look like they are squashed out at the collector instead of being round where they weld to the collector. That would reduce their cross section, not enlarge it.

My car picked up 1/2 second and 5 mph with the edelbrock headers........in the 1/8th mile. They worked great on mine. Not sure how much you'll really pick up with an air foil.
