Econo-Port LT1 Cylinder Head Package

k, i'm going to be purchasing the Econo-Port LT1 Cylinder Head Package for my car found on http://www.advancedinduction.com/AiProductsLT1.html. ill also be going with the custom ground cam, 58mm tb (or should i go just 52mm?), the Extreme Performance Hydraulic Roller Kit, custom tuning, ported intake, LT headers (from jet-hot) w/ a true dual setup, double roller chain, and an electric pump. was wondering if 30# injectors would be good for this setup? also, do i need to install a better fuel pump than stock? i'm trying to get this all planned out before i go through with the purchase. ive already spoke to AI and they informed me with the setup i'm interested in will be pushing around 400rwhp. so please lend some advice if there is anything that i'm forgetting to add to this setup to do it right from the start. thanks.

Are you porting out the intake manifold? Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't 52 the biggest you can go without matching the manifold to a 58?

Just want to make sure everything will fit good for ya

As for the other stuff, i'm not sure what to tell ya beucase i don't know what kind of cam it is.

From what I have read from tons of posts I have seen on here and other boards, you really dont need to upgrade the TB till you go bigger dicplacement.

I don't fully belive that. How is it not needed? More air is bad for a 350ci SBC??? He's going to have heads that flow better (more air). Thus wouldn't he want more air to get there?

Re: Econo-Port LT1 Cylinder Head Package

I just finished doing this:

Bigger injectors won't hurt you...look for something larger. I am running 36# injectors and while looking, found 30# and 36# fms injectors to be similar in price. 30#s should be fine, but you will be pissed if you get it all running and have too little injector. Look for bigger and settle for 30s or 32s.

As for the TB...it's like the injectors. Look for a deal on a used one and the price won't be crazy. A 52 will be fine, but you won't hurt anything with a 58 and the price isn't much more with the right deal.

A fuel pump won't hurt you. It is an extra $150 of insurance that will pay off if your pump sucks. A stock pump can do the job you are asking it for, but it will be on barrowed time. So upgrade when you can...sooner rather than later depending on miles.

And for cam just assume something like a CC306. They won't tell you the cam grind but a 306 will be a good reference to tell people.

Any others?
