Eaton or Zexel

am trying to decide which posi unit to go with... the Eaton for 449.00 or the Heavy Duty Slp Zexel Torsen for 479.00.. price does not really matter am just looking for the strongest one cause that's all that seems to break on my car... i have a 95 Z my 60ft are 1.60.. any info would be great .. thanks..

Eatons are not that expensive. Email me at qscott@partsbyweller.com and I can get ya a better price.

thanks for all the info, just another ? what exactly is a detroit lock ? does it take place of the posi ? is it stronger? is it streetable? i have a 6 speed if that would help. again thanks..

get a 12 bolt. for the amount you have already spent on the thing, you could have bought a moser. it will last forever

well again i was given a limit on my motor by my wife which some you know how that goes if your married.. second thing am given another limit on my rear end which is around 500.00 am not able to spend another 2 grand for a 12 bolt or a 9 inch sorry.. the 10 bolt seems to hold up fine it's just the posi that keeps breaking..

If you gonna use Stock 10 bolt....... then just get SLP take off $100....

He already has that and that is the one that went out right now....I am gonna do the install and I dont want to have to get into there again so we are looking for the best deal for 300-500 dollars

Don't waste your money on the 10 bolt get a 12 bolt or 9in....let it sit if you have to. Actually.....it's a waste of money and time.

The car is also and 11 sec daily driver...cant compromise the drivability of the car much either
