Eagle 4bolt billet caps (3) $79.00...huh!

Check this out, Im sure Eagle makes quite good caps, cant be much worse than anyone else, I usually see them going for over $200, round $250....but look...

http://www.gofaststuff.com/specials.html

3/4 of the way down on that page, SBC Splayed caps, 2.45" journals

Edit: Thinking about it it would make sense that that price is for one, since that would make it $240 for three, but nowhere does it say "3 required" or "price per cap" or anything, it even says "capS '

Ok, just heard from someone that I guess they have always been that price, or at least that price on Ebay all the time (NEW).

New question is WHY? Anybody know why on earth they are $120 cheaper than the cheapest billet splayed caps? Dont see how a cap can be ****ty as long as its billet steel, since they need bored anyway?

crappy thing though is that they dont come with the guides to drill, which is very important for the do it yourselfer.

That is by far the cheapest I've ever seen. There wasn't any detail about their material/composition though.

pioneer also makes a set cheap for 190.00 I believe 1010 billet steel or something like that. I am about to purchase caps to but I cant decide to go straight bolts or 22 degree angle.

Why not splay? Sure there may not be much difference, lots of controversy, but splayed wont hurt, and dont cost any more.
