dynomax headers????
i was reading through an issue of super chevy today, and something caught my eye. it was a small article about different exhuast companies and what they made, and i saw that dynomax now makes an emissions compatible LT header for the 93-97 camaro. has anyone heard of or seen these??

Re: dynomax headers????
so no one has heard anything about these? it was in the oct. issue, it said something like... "dynomax now makes an emissions legal long tube header for the 93-97 LT1" ... i cant find them on the dynomax website, or anywhere else for that matter. anyone think it was a mis-print?

Re: dynomax headers????
While I havent heard anything about these headers, I do know that if you get PaceSetter LT's they are VERY similar to Jet Hots or Hookers except they are slip fit and can be had with emissions fittings. Also, alot of ppl rip on the slip fit, but I have had no issues as of yet. For my application, its probably the only way I could run long tubes as I need every spec of ground clearance I can get ... Theyre very well made long tubes, although the coating isnt that great? Its OK, better than nothing and is worth the 100$ I guess.
Sorry I havent seen anything on the DynoMax's though

Re: dynomax headers????
yeah i figured it would be, thats why i searched em only to come up with nothing. im really not too worried about the emissions, but i think itld be nice to see someone making something new for the LT1. and i figured there would be a LOT of people interested in an emissions legal LT for it. if i was desperate for headers i can get a set of coated pacesetters for not too much, i think the local race shop told me $322 shipped to their shop but thats been awhile. im more interested in teh simple fact of something new for lt1s wish someone would just make a new intake for them... oh well if anyone knows anything about this let me know! (i mean the headers but an intake would be nice! lol)

Re: dynomax headers????
I saw them advertised in the October issue of GMHTP, in the new products section. They are long tubes. The magazine has the part numbers in it, I had a friend of mine that works at O'Reillys check on the price just for grins, but they were pretty expensive if I remember correctly. i wasn't impressed for the money. Pacesetter is still the way to go if your on a budget IMHO
