Dyno #s, What is up

Well guys i dynoed the car sat and my #s were 285.8 RWHP and 291.1 RWTQ, Horsepower came at 5900 and tq was flat from 3700 to 5000 where it started to decline and fell below 250 at 6000. I figured i would make a little more Power than this. The car seems to be fine. I do have a few questions though. On the dyno the car ran up to about 5200 and paused and then went on till i stoped. the graph shows nothing about it happening. Also How could i tell if the transmission is slipping? My Before cam #s were 254 Hp 299.7 TQ, Hp came at 5200 and tq was at 3600 and went down wasnt flat like it is now. Any help you guys have or does this sound normal. With all i have i should have made more than 254 before the cam i think.

My total mods are Mac midlength headers, hooker catback, Precision indestires vigilante 2800 converter, 224/230 Comp cam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Ion at Madz28 did my tune,

Thanks cal

Sounds kinda low, even if you didn't port your heads, it should still be making more power than that.

Check over ignition and fuel systems.

Plugs, wires, coil, OPTI.

Fuel pressure, fitler.

If all else fails get a good shop to scan the car.

No dyno numbers yet!

I do have some track times tho.

Went 2 weekends ago (after OPTI install) and ran a 12.9 @ 110 w/ 2.05 60' on street tires and thats with my high rpm miss. (5700-6200)

Any times yet?

Get all the bugs worked out and that time shouldn't be a problem for ya.

You definately have some power hiding somewhere. I think when you find the problem you should put down in the area of 320-330 rwhp. (A4)

When you adjusted the rockers...did you adjust them with the car warm or was it cold.....you may have over tightened them and that's why you are losing some power...

well the lifters wasn't fully pumped up......i would try readjusting them after a quick drive around the block and see what happens....chances are that they are too tight...
