Thumbs down Dyno Results

Had my car dynoed today (my first!!!) and did a pitiful 266 HP with the cutout open. 256 with it closed (my torque was around 300 ft. lbs though!)

Isn't stock HP higher than that? I'm gonna remove my Hypertech chip and see if that helps as I have heard that the hypertech chip can reduce HP.

I still have a nasty vibration which I believe is from the flywheel that could be robbing HP but I thought I'd be around 300 HP. I was dissapointed to say the least.

What's funny is I raced an LS1 recently from a role and he got about 1 car length on me pretty quickly which I was able to gain on a make half a car length before we had to slow down due to traffic. I was very slow gaining on him and could have passed him.

If you're just stock with a cutout then I think those numbers are very good....what are your mods?

Those numbers sound right for a stock car

My car is pretty modded. Click on the link in my sig. I have all the bolt ons. Headers, CAI, electronics water pump, cut out, etc. Yeah, it's good for a stock car but mine is hardly stock.

Well, it's not as nasty as I make it out to be but any vibration will effect horsepower. I plan on pulling my aluminum flywheel but getting the stock one reinstalled.

What do you guys think I should be running with my mods? I was hoping for anywhere between 290 and 320 RWHP.

I would assume it would pull at least 25+rwhp over stock...

From my personal experience with 93's I would recommend getting an AFPR. I picked up 10 rwhp and 17 rwtq with this mod. My car dynoed 292 rwhp and 330 rwtq with Mac headers, K&N Cold Air, AFPR, 52mm TB and catback exhaust .
