Dyno numbers with new setup..Joe O Cam, LE1 Heads

Finally done my heads/cam setup. I installed LE1 heads with 918 springs, CC OEM Lifters, CC pushrods, CC 1.6 Pro-mags. Joe O Cam. 22x 23x 110LSA. Ive heard this cam referred to as his "small but nasty" cam. Meziere Electric Waterpump, New Opti, Cloyes Double Roller Timing Set, Ford 30# inj., 52mm TB, Pacesetter LT's, Pacesetter Offroad Y-Pipe. Already had SLP Loudmouth installed. After Dyno Tuning the car I put down 385rwhp 367 torque

Im gonna step out on a limp and say most likely a 6 speed. I think that cam is right around a BRE LE1 cam power levels, and those numbers are pretty close to a LE1 package ...

good #'s for a small cam.

That rear end isn't helping the dyno #'s any but at least you can launch with out picking up pieces.

I am sure it is fun to drive.

I think I have the same cam (I'll PM you the specs) but mine's on a 111...I put down similar power last year with shorties ( I'm also a 383). Thats a great cam and I went 118mph with it last year...Which dyno? I see you are around my neck of the woods (where I work). Will probably go 120mph with it since I've gotten the stpped Kooks and EWP now...Take care...

FWIW Handyman's Impala has a LE1 cam, but LE2 heads.

Nice numbers man, should be like driving a stock car around with just a lot more power.

That's the thing about these small cams and LE heads. They make nice HP and drive damn near like their stock.

I wouldnt say minees like driving a stock car but I blame that mainly on my spec stage 3 clutch that is near impossible to slip. Its more of an ON/OFF clutch then any other clutch I have experienced. The cam has a pretty mean lope to it as well.

Nice numbers, especially for stage 1 heads and a "small" Joe O cam and thru a 12 bolt..You'd be close to 400 thru a 10 bolt..Nice!

The clutch must be new because after a few miles they break in and are not that bad to drive. I dd a stage IV, I love it, although spec makes crappy clutches and it will be the last one I buy.
