Re: dyno numbers

You think only 275 rwhp with intake full exhaust and tune.

Re: dyno numbers

i think you could do about 280ish. i got 281 and 354 with mac headers magnaflow catback and ram air (not that that helps on a dyno)

Re: dyno numbers

Don't expect anything from that BBK UD pulley.

Re: dyno numbers

I am not expecting any peak power out of the pulley but most I see will give about 5 under the curve so I thought that was good for $50. Because it isn't all about peak power.

Re: dyno numbers

But with intake, full exhaust, and tune I am hoping to get like 280-290 on a dynojet.

Re: dyno numbers

I dont think you'll get anywhere close to 290...280 maybe...what you will notice is a flatter curve and less power fall off after 5200rpm.

Re: dyno numbers

Maybe your and my look are different because I think 280 is near 290 maybe that is just how I look at it though.

Re: dyno numbers

On my old setup with the CC305 and super comp shorties I put down only 298.7rwhp and 316.6rwtq. New setup went much better...see my other thread "Went to the dyno and..."

Good Luck with it

Re: dyno numbers

Yea maybe I am hoping for it to be high, I guess you have to when it is your car. I saw your other thread those are some nice numbers and I can't wait to see what it does at the track.

Re: dyno numbers

hmm...i only put down 298 and 310 with midlengths and a 218/224 cam through an A4 so don't shoot too high or you'll be disappointed. i was hoping for 320rwhp and tq at a minimum. maybe i'm close now that i have a tune though i doubt it.

280 isn't near 290, and if you got 280 I'd be surprised...you'll notice big midrange gains and good gains after your peak power at like 5700 rpm or 6000rpm it'll be a totally different car...but peak power...I just dont think you'll get 290 out of an auto car unless its a factory freak...280 is much more reasonable, but I still find it unlikely. Sorry to rain on your parade.
