dyno number seems high

dyno number seems high

dynoed my stock lt1 today with bolt ons... dyno was little messed up only got one run with any numbers and the hp was around 305 this seem high to anybody else... i couldnt believe it

just basic bold ons
slp cold air intake
under drive pulley
borla cat back
jet hot long tubes
12 bolt
3000 mid west stall
off road y pipe
no tune
bout it nothing special really

seems high to me... hoping we get the computer fixed on the dyno at school so can try it and get the full numbers

When I bought my car 4 years ago I added a cold air intake, SLP mid length headers, aluminum drive shaft, Dynomax cat back, high flow converter, Madz28 tune and it made 290 RWHP. Was it a load bearing dyno or a dynojet?

I'm guessing with the long tubes you have an ory also, so it is very possible, I have seen 315 with on a buddy's car with the stock heads and cam!

But that was a stalled auto. They seem quite inflated to me.

If the car was an M6 with a 10-bolt I'd say it's possible, but for a stalled auto through a 12-bolt it's definitely high.

ok just dynoed and got good numbers 294 hp and 361 ft lbs... sounds better still happy as hell with it

Torque number seems a bit high and Dynojets typically read a little higher. But never say never, mine made 311 RWTQ. The LT1’s typically have really flat torque curves.

think my torque peaked because of the stall... but was consist on both numbers... all 290s on hp and 350 to 360 on torque... nice and flat on both
