Dynatech opti

Is the opti from Dynatech any good? They says it's pretty tough and will FAR outlast any other opti on the market. Does this have any truth to it? I'm thinking about adding it to my checklist for my 396 if it's worht it.

Well i have one and i still do not have enough miles on it yet to swear by it but so far so good. But with the amount of research i did to find which opti was the best, the dynaspark was my choice. They have a very good track record, there have been a few failures but most were related to being installed incorrectly. The good thing about these guys is they stand behind their product and will rebuild it cheap if it does fail.It does cost more than the rest but so far msd has had more failures than they should and the OEM one is very inconsistant, some gm ones last a long time and some do not.I say go for the dynaspark but it really is up to you if you want to spend the extra money, but i would not get a msd one until they have worked out more of the issues that they have had which i am sure they either already have or they will very soon.

Yeah I wasn't even going to consider the MSD due to all the problems I've read about them. I think I'll go with the Dynaspark though and just spend the extra cash for something good.

I have one and I feel it is well worth the extra coin.
