Dumb but reasonable question

I'm a bafoon...but I've never pulled my valve covers off. I"m interested in getting some Rockers for the LT...but I was wondering what kind of Rocker setup does the LT-1 have? Is it the V-shaped style or the Horizontal style?

Also what do you guys think about these?

I'm a budget racer..so I gotta get what I can afford

BTW...Does the Rocker install involve anything other than removing the Altinator and and pulling the Valve covers?

Anyone know a good place to get valve springs?

Take a look under my valve covers. Pics, page 4 and 5

Not sure on those eBay rockers, good price though I guess. I'm all about budget, but getting into the valvetrain, internals, stuff like that.. I'd rather go for the stuff that's proven to be good quality.

Check out this Install guide to see what's all involved. Rockers are easy, the springs are the more difficult part.

I got my springs from Combination Motorsports for $85 or something.

Yepper Stamped Steel is what they are.

If you're going to purchase new rocker arms (I can't see ebay links, I'm at work), you have to decide if you want self-aligning or Non-self-aligning so you can get guideplates.

I've "heard" that Scorpion makes a fairly priced decent Roller Rocker...
