Duals louder than a cutout?
Duals louder than a cutout?
I ran a cutout on my I-pipe back when I had dual cats and stock manifolds for awhile and it wasn't too bad. Now I have LTs, and no cats....how would an X-pipe with bullets and dumps at the rear compare to the decibal level of the cutout?

Just removing the cats will make it quite a bit louder. I have over the axle true duals, and I was pleased to find it wasn't stupid loud. Its still louder than any catback out there, but I don' t think I'll be pulled over for it, as long as I'm not getting on it. When you get on it, its pretty frickin loud, but cruising isn't too bad. Turn down duals would probably be pretty loud. HTH
Bullets and a cutout will be about the same loudness. Except that you're ditching your cat, so your car will be a lot louder because of that. It'll also sound a lot better and smoother because it'll be a true dual system.
