DTC 43 Knock, still getting it

I have nothing any more that couple be causing the computer to think it has false knock, so whats the deal, DTC 43 means "One or both of the knock sensors were either open or grounded for 5 seconds" Any suggestions? The light doesn't stay on, just comes on randomly and goes off.

You only have one knock sensor and the DTC is not for false knock. Sounds like you have an intermittent problem with the circuit or the sensor. Could be the wire going open or grounding out. A careful inspection of the whole thing would be in order.

I had the EXACT SAME problem. It turned out the knock sensor was on but not snapped on tightly and was giving false knock every now and then. Crawl underneath there and make sure it is snapped on ALL the way. Maybe thats it.

That's funny. I am about to send an order to Dal and have 2 of those on my list. My son's car did not have one either!

well if you ever need any thing like kidney, or heart, or come to Houston, just name it. Like in the great Texas fashion, to repay some one, we take them to a titty bar.

LOL! I have been to Texas plenty of times. Even spent a week in a class in Houston out on Westheimer. Like Dallas, I don't think anyone sleeps in that town.
Your good intentions are noted.
