DTC 41 - cranks, but no start...
Took the car for a quick ride yesterday, worked fine. It hasn't had any rough starts or misses at all. Next time I go to start it, it doesn't start. It cranks and it sounds like it fires a few times but never gets to idle. I scan it and see DTC 41. I searched here and found out what to do. I also followed the chart from
http://home.comcast.net/~fastbird/Tr...Aids/dtc41.jpg , which basically said the same thing as some members here.
Everything tested out ok, 2.5 AC volts on white wire, +12 on pins A and D, ground on black wire, not more than .5 volts on white wire with ignition on, etc. So, I change the coil and ICM but it still does the same thing. Same code. I AM getting spark from the coil, and at the spark plugs. Since I probed the connection and it worked, I can assume the connection is fine.
I read DTC 41 shuts off the fuel injectors, but after I clear the code and crank it again, shouldn't it start before DTC 41 comes on again? Sorry for the long post but this is irritating me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
