dropping at 4100K RPM

just as it says, i hooked the O2's back up and the MAF and the code went away, but it returned about 5 minutes into driving. i had the MAF plugged up but when it is plugged in it brings the idle to a ****ty 400RPM. the problem i am having is the MAF klilling the car when plugged in. and the fact that when i am steadily raising the RPM and moving the tranny "unlocks" at about 4100 RPM. what could cause this and how do i fix it?

Re: dropping at 4100K RPM

Remember to check the fluid when the engine is on and the car is in park. After having the battery unhooked your computer will need to relearn, it may run not as good for alittle while...i had this problem when i unhooked the battery to weld in my SFC's...the car ran like crap for a day or two. Not sure what this is called but i have heard it before.
