people do it, but I would never, the hrsepower advantage is not worth the hassle you will recieve. You already have headers , so I wouldn't bother. My car is not lower and hit underneath, recently I went on a gravel road and hit a dip, and scraped bad. Speed bumps you can say goodbye to, for you will never beable to go over them in peace. As it stands right now I must come to a stop and roll over them as slow as I can, and I still scrape on high ones. I also just started carpooling to school, well we meet in a parking lot with a steep drive, that bottoms out real bad if I'm not careful. Keep in mind I have the stock height and I have problems. there are some speed bumps by my school that are so bad that when I went over them with my completely stock exhaust and manifolds, I really thought the whole system was going to get torn off. I avoid low areas eveywhere I go, with my car lowered I would be afraid to drive at all. My lowest point with the longtubes is 3.5 inches at the collectors, subtract 1.5 inches from lowering and you got some seriously low clearance.
