I know this is a stupid mistake. I think I left one in before I started pulling the cam. I started pulling the cam and heard somthing fall. I went back and counted my lifters and im one short. Is there an easy way to get this out or am i going to have to drop the pan.

sorry man you are gonna have to drop the pan. unless you can get a magnet stick manuevered down in the crankcase and see if you can get teh lifter which i doubt you will be able to do.

 

The pan can drop about an inch, if you can find somone with small hands then you might be able to reach it, not sure though.
