I have a '95 z28 with an A4. It just started to develop two problems. First, the car doesnt seem to want to shift at WOT until i completely let off the gas. it doesnt matter if its in drive or overdrive. If i stay on the gas it goes up to the redline but then the rpm's quickly move up to the rev limiter and the car does not accelerate. it feels like the transmission is disconnected or something and the power isnt getting to the wheels. i dont know if i need transmission work or if somethin else is wrong. Another problem is that if i launch from a stop, with the rpms over like 3 or 4 thousand, my rear end grinds. Do you think it is time to replace the gears or what? i dont know if these two problems are related. Thanks for any help.
